French/German Teachers (full or part time and permanent)
Bramdean School, Exeter, are seeking two enthusiastic and inspirational Teachers for September 2017
Bramdean moved to Exeter in 1901 and has a long and distinguished history. It is an interdenominational school for boys and girls. The school is on a self-contained site in its own grounds with its own sports field and indoor floodlit uni-turf sports area and a large chapel.
Boys and girls are educated in a happy atmosphere which provides a stimulating learning environment from Kindergarten through to Sixth Form. The curriculum is broad and balanced and classes are kept to a sensible size enabling pupils to receive individual attention. The quality of pastoral care is outstanding.
Due to the retirement of our long standing French and German teachers, we require two inspirational teachers who will be flexible, able to teach across all ability levels, maintaining the high expectations of the pupils in terms of behaviour and academic achievement.
The roll is currently a job share on a 0.5 timetable for each language. However, the post could be combined for the right candidate. Pupils study language from the age 7 to 18 and the successful candidate must be capable of teaching to this age range.
The salary is competitive and based on the teachers’ main pay scale.
Bramdean is committed to safeguarding children and the successful applicant will be required to share this ethos and commitment.
